For the development of their Low Carbon Economy Plan, the municipality of Lubin is working with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. Lubin received funding from the European Union under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program 2007-2013.

Their end goal is to improve the environment and quality of life for the inhabitants of Lubin, Poland. Implementing these new measures in reducing dust and gas emissions, modernization of residential, service and commercial buildings, production, public utility, modernization and expansion of road infrastructure, reduction of energy intensity of street lighting, and other areas of operation of the municipality will help them achieve their PGN goals!

Think Greener’s objective is to obtain more details about Lubin’s PGN and conduct interviews which will continue to help shine the spotlight on their solutions to help reverse climate change.
