Think Greener, LLC Received Update From The Amazon – Breaking News

Think Greener received great news last night! Our friend Steve from Pachamama Alliance returned safely to the States from a 10-day journey through the Amazon with his small group of ecotourists. They ventured into the Achuar territory of Ecuador where the headwaters of the Amazon are located. It was great to receive his update that all went well and the local indigenous Achuar people of the Amazon welcomed Steve and his small group back to the Amazon after a two-year absence due to Covid. He says, “None too soon as the oil, mining, and timber companies are pushing hard to enter the territory”. The invitation to travel comes directly from the Achuar people and the community based eco-tourism as their main alternative to oil development. They want allies to visit from the modern world so they can share the message and power of the rainforest with the world.
I am excited to announce, Think Greener will be traveling with Steve into the headwaters of the Amazon in March 2022 where we hope to awaken an ancient memory stored in our DNA of a natural and harmonious way of living and being. We are in the process of planning a unique extended visit with the Achuar people. We will be focusing on how Think Greener can help educate and empower the Achuar women, provide sustainable teachings to all indigenous people of the Amazon and join them in ensuring this global treasure remains intact.
