It could always be worse, right? Well, I don’t believe this is always the best approach. Like with tropical storm Henri, never materializing to hurricane status when making landfall. You may say it could always be worse, but it did wreaked havoc up the East coast with torrential rainfall.
This weekend, tropical storm Henri delivered record breaking rainfall in New Your City! The storm surge was not what they expected, as it moved slowly producing widespread flooding up the East coast. These heavy downpours inflicted terror and tragedy to Tennessee, tearing apart houses and killing more than 20 people. Think Greener Spotlighting Sustainable Solution in Lubin, Poland
Think Greener’s website talks about living in grounded optimism, much like what I will talk about today in my blog! Humanity already has the solutions to reverse climate change like wind, solar and many others and we clearly understand there is a global warming problem. When humanity comes together in grounded optimism and consciousness there will be a direct connection with nature allowing for the earth to replenish itself and for humanity to start livening in harmony with Mother Earth. I am positive we will be able to achieve worldwide net zero emissions with the help from governments around the world as they reduce the subsides currently provided to fossil fuel extraction and redirect them to renewable energy solutions.
The urgency of addressing global warming has never been clearer. When you turn on the news channels or radio you will probably see or hear of some form of climate change. Lately it’s been about deadly climate-driven disasters unfolding around the world, from flash floods in Europe, North America and Asia, to intense wildfires in Siberia, to widespread persistent heat waves and droughts that threaten to upend food supplies in the U.S., Middle East and much of Africa. Hmm… scary stuff and some people don’t want to talk about it? Well, the IPCC, Think Greener and many other people around the world are taking action!
