It is great to hear, Italy has started the implementation of offshore wind power! The Taranto/Beleolico project will create about 56,000 MWH of electricity each year. Enough to power nearly 19,000 homes! Italy’s first offshore wind farm using 10 monopiles is expected to be operational by 2022!
