The rain is coming down hard this morning and hurricane Henri is expected to make landfall this afternoon here in the US. The epicenter could possibly hit Southampton, Long Island where I have close friends living near the shoreline. Thankfully, America has entered the race of achieving a zero-emissions economy free from carbon pollution by 2050. This will require rethinking many facets of our current lifestyles. The residential sector of 128 million homes in America must be delt with by reducing the energy consumption and emissions. I often write about the negative impacts steel and concreate have on our ecosystem and today I have some good news, what I like to call a game changer! A Swedish steel manufacturing plant has figured out a way to produce steel without using coal! As you are aware, steel is used for everything from construction and engineering to car parts and much more.
