Think Greener has enrolled in the Green Team Academy 2021 International #ClimateActionChallenge! Our team is comprised of 4 passionate ordinary people, two from the East coast, one from the Midwest, and one from the West coast of the USA. We are Team #49 out of 61 from 25 countries that have stepped up to participate in the challenge. Think Greener is part of 207 challengers from Barbados, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Canada, Colombia, Curaçao, Dominica, Egypt, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Mexico, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Switzerland, Uganda, United Kingdom, USA, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe!

Preparation for PII – COP26 Here We Come!
Think Greener prepares its sustainable spotlight for its departure of Phase II – World Travels to France, Scotland, England, Poland and possibly Asia (Covid Permitting-Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam). We are especially excited to attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference also known as COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland from Nov 1, 2021 – Nov 12, 2021. This event has been postponed for twelve months due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland and around the world! It will be a pivotal moment in the fight against climate change as the UN Brings together almost every country on earth for global climate meetings called COPs, which stands for the Conference of the Parties.

Amazon Pachamama AllianceThink Greener received great news last night! Our friend Steve from Pachamama Alliance returned safely to the States from a 10-day journey through the Amazon with his small group of ecotourists. They ventured into the Achuar territory of Ecuador where the headwaters of the Amazon are located. It was great to receive his update that all went well and the local indigenous Achuar people of the Amazon welcomed Steve and his small group back to the Amazon after a two-year absence due to Covid. He says, “None too soon as the oil, mining, and timber companies are pushing hard to enter the territory”.
